This meal was better the next day surprisingly but somewhat of a disappointment the day of. We got so much rice and so little of other portions (besides the hummus) that it flavored my opinion of this place, which was otherwise decent. The chicken shawarma was somewhat dry and under-spiced. I asked about getting extra pitas and the person who took my order told me we were already getting pita with our order, but the two pieces were not nearly enough for the food we ordered and sauces provided. As mentioned, the quantities were good for things like sauces, rice, and hummus but chicken kabab was just ok and would have hoped for more than two pieces of meat with the kafta bowl. The meat was tasty though. I liked the fava bean salad quite a bit. It had a nice citrus-e flavor. The lentil soup had an unusual spice that we didn't love. Great service and friendly staff . Lamb shank was delicious and tender and Does NOT have that smell that lambs do.
